What does "Validating" Mean?

When you upload Apple Motion Artwork, you may see a "Validating" status next to each of the uploads. Our back-end system validates each of the uploaded files independently to ensure they meet the requirements set by Apple. This includes checking the size, ensuring no audio channels are present and the codec is set correctly.

It can take a little bit of time for us to validate the upload. Our team will reach out if there's any problems with the file you've uploaded.
