Each artist is assigned a unique Apple Artist ID by Apple, which is crucial for managing your music releases. When you upload new content through our platform and create a new artist profile, you’ll be promoted to enter this URL.
If you're transitioning to Colonize Media from another distributor or are releases for an artist who has an existing profile on Apple Music here’s how you can find their ID:
Open the Apple Music or iTunes app.
Search for your artist name using the search bar.
Click the "..." next to your artist name.
Select "Share" from the menu.
Choose "Copy Link."
Once you've copied the link, return to the Colonize Media upload form and paste the URL. This process ensures that your releases are correctly associated with your unique artist profile on Apple platforms.
