What are Instant Gratifications?

Instant Gratifications allow tracks on your release to be made live before full album publication. You can select up to 50% of your tracks to be made available before your release goes live.

Prerequisites

Before you can activate Instant Gratifications, your release must be configured with a Pre-order Date, this can be configured from the first page of the submission process. Your Pre-order date must be before the release date of the album, we normally recommend about two weeks.

Your release will also need to contain a minimum of two tracks before you can active a campaign.

How do I configure Instant Gratification Campaigns?

On the “Advanced Configuration” step of the release process, you’ll see the option for Instant Gratification campaigns. You can enable and then configure your campaign by toggling the switch to the right of your screen.

To active a campaign for a track, click the “Configure” button on the row item corresponding to that track.

Here you can configure the start date for this track, this will be the date the track goes live ahead of the others on this product. You’ll be able to select dates between your products pre-order date and the release date of the product.

Once you’re happy with the dates, click “Save”. You can configure your campaigns for other tracks on your release using the same method.

Once all of your campaigns have been configured, you can proceed to the next step and submit the release for review.

Why don't I see the Instant Gratification option for my release?

Please speak with your account manager, they'll be able to get this enabled for your label.

How can I disable a timed release?

If you have yet to submit your release, simply toggle the campaign off. Please note that this will delete the campaign and if you wish to enable again, you'll need to fill out all the information again.

If you've submitted your release and it has been sent to stores, please reach out to our team. We'll be able to disable this on our end for you and update the stores.
