Ensure your cover art is in-line with store requirements.

We have strict guidelines for the quality and formatting of cover art, which align with the style guidelines of the stores we collaborate with. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in the release not being displayed on the store.

Image Quality:

Cover art must be clear and free from any defects like blurriness, pixelation, misalignment, rotation, stretching, or other quality issues. It should accurately reflect the metadata information without abbreviations.

Dimensions and Formats:

  • Proportion: Square

  • Minimum Size: 2000 x 2000 pixels

  • Maximum Size: 5000 x 5000 pixels

  • Accepted Formats: JPG, JPEG or PNG

  • Color Mode: RGB (CMYK not supported)

Prohibited Elements in Cover Art:

  • Links and Web Pages: No website addresses, social media mentions, store or service logos, or references to physical or video formats.

  • Contact Information: No phone numbers or email addresses.

  • Credits and Collaborations: Allowed if the names are listed correctly in the metadata.

  • Tracklisting and Illegible Texts: No track listings; fonts should be legible even in small formats.

  • Descriptions and Biographies: No album descriptions or artist biographies.

  • Format References: No references to digital, physical, or video formats, or missing contents.

  • Pricing and Promotional Information: No pricing or promotional content.

  • Offensive Content: No racist, pornographic, or violence-glorifying content; no offensive symbolism.

  • Misleading Information: The cover should not falsely represent the content.

  • Translations and Special Characters: Avoid non-Western or special characters unless relevant; no side-by-side translations.

  • Logos, Images, and Registered Brands: Only permitted if justified in metadata and relevant to the musical content.

Documentation for Registered Brands:

  1. Necessary documentation may be required for using registered brands, private images, or company references, to demonstrate proper authorization.
